Gyrobird

The requirements of this project were to create a fun toy that had at least two different moving parts and it needed to be 3D printed. The Gyrobird features design/engineering elements from three different products/vehicles. The overall concept is based off small flying drones, the turbines of the aircraft take the form of Dyson’s bladeless fans, and its vertical take-off and landing system was inspired by the V-22 Osprey.
