Light Stick

The Light Stick was a project done for a senior level class where we had to adopt the design language of two other brands. The brief for this project was to combine the design languages of Muji and Fuseproject and create any product of our choosing. The product that I chose to create was an adjustable work light that can be used to illuminate confined spaces.

Features

  • Lightweight Construction: Allows for easy transport and handling

  • One Touch Extension/Retraction: Green button slowly extends mounting arms; Red button slowly retracts the arms.

  • Two Attachment Modes: Light Stick can be modified into two different configurations for different mounting conditions.

  • Rubber Grips with Magnetic Backing: Soft rubber allows for maximum grip without damaging the mounting surface. Magnetic plates behind the grips provide a stronger mounting on most metallic surfaces.

  • Adjustable LEDs: Dimmer control over the brightness of the LEDs.
